Blue Acquires Phil Booth

OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 16, 2021 – The Oklahoma City Blue has acquired Phil Booth from the NBA G League player pool, the team announced today.

Booth (6-2, 190) spent the 2019-20 season with the Capital City Go-Go, the G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards, where he appeared in 36 games (11 starts) and averaged 11.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 21.5 minutes per contest, shooting 40.7 percent from the field.

The Baltimore native helped lead Villanova to two National Championships during his time with the Wildcats, appearing in 148 games (73 starts) and averaging 10.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 24.6 minutes per game, shooting 43.3 percent.

Booth is expected to be in uniform tonight when the Blue takes on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at 6:30 p.m. CT inside The Field House.
