Oklahoma City Announces Coaching Staff Updates

OKLAHOMA CITY, SEPT. 27, 2019 – The Oklahoma City Blue has named Daniel Brady, Eric Maynor and Caliph Mohammed as assistant coaches on Head Coach Grant Gibbs’ staff, the team announced today.

Brady joined the Oklahoma City organization in the 2018-19 season as a player development coach. He previously worked in video/player development with the Atlanta Hawks for three seasons, as well as stints with the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers. He graduated from University of Missouri-Kansas City with a degree in Business Management.

Maynor returns to Oklahoma City after a nine-year playing career, including three seasons with the Thunder. The North Carolina native averaged 4.3 points, 2.8 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 267 career games. He becomes the third former Thunder player (Royal Ivey, Mike Wilks) to begin his coaching career in the organization.

Mohammed joins the team after running his own player development business, working with NBA, international and collegiate players. He graduated from Grand Canyon University with Bachelor of Science in physical/secondary education.

The trio joins Kameron Woods, who is in his second season on the coaching staff.
