Oklahoma City Acquires Five Players on NBA G League Draft Day

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oct. 21, 2017 – The Oklahoma City Blue added four players in the 2017 NBA G League Draft, selecting guards TJ Wallace, Stedmon Lemon, Wally Ellenson and forward Amjyot Singh. The team also acquired the returning player rights to center JJ Panoske and a 2018 third-round draft pick for the returning player rights to forward Karrington Ward in a trade with the Windy City Bulls.

Wallace (6-3, 205) was selected with the 23rd overall pick. A graduate of the University of Pacific, he appeared in 118 career games (88 starts), averaging 10.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 27.6 minutes.

Lemon (6-6, 200), the 51st overall pick, spent the 2016-17 season with the Delaware 87ers and Canton Charge, appearing in 13 games and averaging 2.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 8.2 minutes.

Ellenson (6-6, 200), selected 93rd overall, played for the Windsor Express of the Canadian NBL during the 2016-17 season where he appeared in 46 games (29 starts) and averaged 9.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.4 minutes.

Singh (6-8, 229), the 103rd overall pick, played with the Indian national team in the 2017 FIBA Asia Challenge. He averaged 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 32.8 minutes.

Panoske (6-11, 235) played 11 games with the Maine Red Claws during the 2016-17 season, averaging 3.9 points and 1.6 rebounds in 11.2 minutes per game.

Ward appeared in 22 games (one start) for the Blue and averaged 1.3 points in 5.1 minutes.
