OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 10, 2017 – The Oklahoma City Blue (1-2) dropped an overtime thriller to the Windy City Bulls (1-2), 130-126, on Friday night at Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL.
The Blue led the Bulls 39-21 after the first quarter and started the second with an 8-0 run. Then with a few late buckets in the second quarter, the Bulls went on to tie the game at 60 apiece by the conclusion of the first half.
Oklahoma City generated a 103-94 lead over Windy City by the end of the third quarter. The Bulls, however, outscored the Blue 29-20 in the fourth quarter behind nine points from Jarell Eddie, sending the game into overtime.
The Blue effort was led by Daniel Hamilton who finished the game one assist shy of a triple-double with 24 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists. Chris Wright contributed 22 points, five rebounds, five assists, and one blocked shot. Myke Henry and Rashawn Thomas came off the bench and tallied 19 and 16 points, respectively.
Windy City was led by Antonio Blakeney who produced a game-best 44 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals.
The Blue will return home to host the Texas Legends on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the Cox Convention Center.
