OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 7, 2017 – The Oklahoma City Blue (15-7) recorded its seventh straight win, defeating the Greensboro Swarm (6-15), 112-99 on Saturday night.

The Blue trailed 53-50 at halftime, but used a 32-point third quarter to take control of the game. With the score tied at 56-all with 8:47 left, OKC outscored the Swarm by nine over the remainder of the quarter to take the lead for good.

Kaleb Tarczewski scored 10 in the quarter, and finished with 16 points. He was one of six players in double figures for the Blue, led by Reggie Williams with 20 points.

“I felt like we defended well, especially in the second half,” Head Coach Mark Daigneault said. “We made really good adjustments at halftime and came out with a high level of commitment.”

Oklahoma City led 25-22 after the first quarter. Josh Huestis, on assignment from the Thunder, and Daniel Hamilton had eight points in the opening frame.

Huestis finished with 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting, and eight rebounds, while Hamilton contributed 17 points, six rebounds and five assists.

“I had a slow start…but I know I can shoot the ball,” Huestis said. “I’ve been working on it, so I just have to keep taking the right shots and they will eventually fall.”

The Blue’s seven-game win streak is the longest active streak in the NBA D-League. It is the team’s longest win streak since winning nine in a row from January 7 – January 28, 2015.
