SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Feb. 2, 2018 – The Oklahoma City Blue (19-15) fell to the Sioux Falls Skyforce (17-17), 127-118, on Friday night.
Despite outscoring the Skyforce in the second half, the Blue couldn’t recover from what was a 23-point deficit. Bryce Alford and Javan Felix paced the Blue in second half, scoring 11 points each.
Felix finished with a team-high 22 points while Alford added 13 points.
Oklahoma City’s only lead came in the opening moments of the game, after a jump shot from Michael Cobbins. Sioux Falls hit six 3-pointers in the quarter and led 35-23 after the first.
Six players from the Blue were in double figures, including two-way players Daniel Hamilton and PJ Dozier who tallied 19 and 15 points, respectively. Sioux Falls’ Derrick Walton Jr. led all players with 41 points and added 11 rebounds and six assists.
Oklahoma City heads to Des Moines to face the Iowa Wolves tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Arena.
